Independent Living Worker (Full-Time – 37 hours per week)

Temporary until 31st March 2018

Hours of work include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Base of Work: Young People’s Services Scheme, Penrith

Salary - £18,643 p.a. - £20,468 p.a.

 

A vacancy has arisen for an Independent Living Worker to work closely with residents, to empower them to develop the necessary personal skills to sustain independent living, which includes managing their tenancy and financial responsibilities, making healthy choices, personal safety, positive use of social time and supporting aspirations on education, training and work.  You will need to be self-motivated, possess good customer service skills, be sensitive to the needs of individuals and able to adapt your delivery style to suit different requirements, as well as having a positive can do approach to life with an ability to motivate others even in the most difficult of circumstances.
