Actively promote the park and it’s facilities to all guests where required. Keep all park grounds, bins, public areas free of debris. Ensure any required maintenance or project work is carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard. Maintain and update all plant and equipment schedules. Ensure the safe use and storage of chemicals among the team. Ensure the motivation and maintenance of the team in the absence of the Grounds and Maintenance Manager. On call hours will be required for this role. This is on a 6 week rota therefore flexibility to working hours will be required. A position for a Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor has become available at the stunning Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat, set within the Lake District countryside near Keswick. This is a varied and fulfilling position that will allow the successful candidate to work within our friendly team at this beautiful resort. You will work within the team to maintain the grounds, gardens and buildings on the park, as well as tending to guest accommodation and ensuring our five star standards are present throughout the park. This is a permanent position to work full time, variable hours including weekends, bank holidays and some on call hours. What experience you will need Some previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Some previous experience with supervising a team is desired. What skills you will need Good customer service skills will be required due to customer interaction. Strong communication skills via emails, face to face and over the phone. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills. A full UK driving licence is essential to the role due to the use of park vehicles.
