Casual position to cover school holidays, private bookings and potential term time evening classes. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced climbing instructor to join our small team of instructors at The Park Leisure Centre. We regularly run children’s climbing courses catering for all abilities. You must hold, as a minimum requirement one of the following qualifications, SPA Single Pitch Award, Climbing Wall Award, MIA or MIC. Holding a route setting qualification and experience of working with people with disabilities would be an advantage. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide instruction in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement. The successful candidate will be eligible to apply to join the Local Government Pension Scheme. The successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration of their criminal record history and apply for an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure Barring Service prior to appointment.
