Each of the individuals we work with have their own training programme which they have often helped to design. After you have completed this you will receive on the job training from an experienced support worker until you feel comfortable to go solo. As a Specialist Support Coordinator you will manage a caseload of support packages, working closely with external professionals and our amazing team of Support Workers to deliver person centred support. You will work with people and their support worker teams to create and help to achieve people’s individual goals on their journey to independence and quality of life. As part of your role you will help shape our services, undertake risk assessments, goal setting and regular reviews with people. You’ll also train and allocate tasks to our Support Workers too, assisting them in their continued personal development and ensuring they reach their full potential. A degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or related field or equivalent work experience working with vulnerable adults and children is essential for this position. The right individual for this role will be an excellent communicator, have brilliant attention to detail and will be highly organised, with a passion for helping others. We encourage anyone with experience working in the care sector who wishes to work with a variety of people to apply for this role. Job Requirements: Primarily, the hours will be between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday based in our office in Warwick Mill, however the successful candidate must be flexible as some evening and weekend work will be required for staff training, team meetings or session cover. You will also be a part of an on call management team and will be expected to take on call as part of a rota basis. A driving licence and access to own car with business insurance is essential for this role. (any mileage occurred whist on duty is paid) This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
