If you are an experienced administrator who enjoys being busy and takes a pride in supporting others, you may be just the person my client need for their Admin Assistant role working within the Finance Department in their Chandlers Ford office. You will be numerate and IT literate and able to carry out the routine administration roles within the Purchase Ledger and the Cashiering teams including data inputting, logging cheques and BACS, archiving, filing and getting payments authorised. Coupled with your great keyboard skills will be high levels of accuracy and attention to detail demonstrating your diligent approach and attitude. You must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Artiion or Proclaim accounts packages would be a benefit. Normal working hours are 0900 - 1700 hrs daily, with a one hour break, but you will need to be flexible in working outside normal working hours as the business requires and in supporting the team.

My client, a leading law firm, have an opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their busy finance team in Chandlers Ford. You will ensure that all purchases of goods and services on behalf of the Firm are completely and accurately accounted for in accordance with the purchasing procedures. You will have experience in processing supplier invoices to computerised accounting systems, and have the ability to cope with large volumes of data processing on a daily basis, and multi company ledgers. You will be a confident communicator, in order to work with Solicitors and Fee Earners on a daily basis. Experience of working within a legal environment would be an advantage, but is not essential. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, excellent keyboard skills and accuracy when inputting data, with a strong attention for detail, and the ability to work without supervision. Your normal working hours will be Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, however you will need to be flexible in working outside these hours as the team and business requires. You will assist the Credit Controller, send out monthly statements, chase debts, liaise with debt recovery agency, update the systems with credit control notes and take telephone payments. Experience of working within a legal environment would be an advantage, but is not essential. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, excellent keyboard skills and accuracy when inputting data, with a strong attention for detail, and the ability to work without supervision.
