An opportunity has arisen for an Entry Level social work practitioner to join The Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Team in West Cumbria on a temporary basis.   We are a lively, creative and supportive social work team working with adults with a learning disability and/or autism. We also work with young people with a disability, supporting them to transition from children's services to adulthood.   We are looking for a qualified social work practitioner who has a solid understanding of the principles of The Care Act 2014 and who has the ability to develop skills in undertaking strength-based, creative and inclusive assessments, support planning and the effective management of a caseload including skills in risk management. You will be patrolling and issuing Penalty Charge Notices for breaches of the restrictions.   You will represent the Council and promote a good relationship with the general public by providing advice and information concerning parking and parking related matters whenever sought, in a courteous manner at all times, thereby helping to promote public satisfaction with the service provided.   What the Team say: 'It's a great way to keep fit and active and engage with local communities.
