Role: Locality Coordinator (Sedgemoor)
Hours 15 hours per week – Part time
Salary: £23,603 - £25,803 (pro-rata)
Fixed term: 12 months (with possibility to continue)
Location: Sedgemoor, with some travel required across Somerset
This is a new and exciting role to be part of a newly-formed locality team in Sedgemoor, working as part of the wider Somerset Mental Health Alliance. You will be employed by Second Step but work very closely with the Sedgemoor locality team which includes Somewhere House Somerset, Citizens Advice and Somerset Foundation Trust. You will;
Bring skills and expertise in project management and administration to ensure the project is well-coordinated and functions smoothly
Have experience in developing partnerships and working across multiple agencies
Coordinate the locality team, providing support for meetings, community and stakeholder events
Keep live, up-to-date knowledge of communities groups and activities across Somerset
Have excellent written and communication skills; being able to deliver a clear message to internal and external stakeholders.
Support with ongoing communication, sharing updates and key information using email and forms of social media
Have the ability to work under pressurised timeframes and also manage longer-term pieces of development and project work
Be open to learning and developing to reflect a rapidly changing external environment
