Executive Business Manager, East London all-through Cluster

Salary: £50k to £65k depending on experience

The Executive Business Manager role is an exciting opportunity to establish, lead and deliver a high quality and efficient business support service across two United Learning schools in east London. We are looking for a highly experienced, strategic and customer focused individual who will be able to set up and lead the formation of a cluster. The role will have an initial focus at Goresbrook School.
You will already have experience in leading and coordinating the delivery of business support services in a number of schools or a similarly complex environment. In addition, you will be familiar with strategic planning and decision-making, professional relationship management, negotiating and influencing at Senior Leadership, Governing Body and Board level and the effective and efficient management of all resources.
You will develop a high performing and motivated business support team, with a focus on the education outcomes and strategic vision. You will also be responsible for developing shared working practices across the schools over time, and for promoting the benefits of best practice across the cluster. You will actively promote and model the values of United Learning and our Framework for Excellence, whilst endorsing and celebrating the distinct culture and ethos of each Academy. You will be responsible for managing the relationship with United Learning central services to ensure that these functions provide value added support and advice to the cluster in a timely and professional way. You will have the highest regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of staff, children and young people.
This is a school-based role with a contractual base at Goresbrook School. The postholder will focus initially on supporting both primary and secondary phases at Goresbrook before looking to extend their reach to Walthamstow Academy. We are therefore open to candidates who have the potential to grow into this role.
