This role will involve rigorous leadership of achievements and standards at Key Stage 5.
Accrington Academy is part of United Learning, a successful national group of independent schools and academies which share a mission to bring out ‘the best in everyone’ and improve the life chances of the children and young people in their care.
Accrington Academy has a strong local reputation and has been oversubscribed for several years. We are a successful school, with expanding 11-18 provision, and the majority of students spend their entire journey with us. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead our thriving and successful Sixth Form. As Assistant Principal responsible for Key Stage 5 Achievement and Standards, you will understand what makes first-rate educational provision as we prepare young adults for the next stages in their education and support them in reaching their destination choices. You will demonstrate a clear commitment to the school and its wider community. Your experience and enthusiasm for education will inspire and challenge both students and the teams of staff you work with.
At Accrington Academy Sixth Form we hold a strong and unswerving belief that every student can succeed, regardless of their background.
