We believe the first years in school are the most important and can shape children’s attitudes to learning and school to make a positive impact on children’s development and wellbeing. We are currently looking to appoint an excellent teacher for our Year 1 children who has good knowledge of the curriculum together with the ability to undertake additional responsibility of maths leadership.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with the Principal, senior leadership team, teachers in the school and staff from other schools that make up The White Horse Federation. Consequently we would welcome applications from excellent classroom practitioners who would like to join our dedicated team and contribute to ensuring our school continues to flourish.

Southbroom Infants School

Southbroom Infants School is based within the market town of Devizes, which is on the edge of the Wiltshire Downs. Having recently received an Ofsted 'Good' rating, our warm and friendly school comprises of 7 well-resourced classrooms and the reception classes share an enclosed, outdoor learning area that is used all year round. We provide a stimulating environment outside the classroom as well as inside, and have a wildlife area, a good range of outdoor facilities and offer a number of out of school activities.
