This is a key role within the Bank’s Operational Excellence team and will provide support to the Automation and Artificial Intelligence Lead in the delivery of intelligent automation initiatives across the Bank.

Responsibilities include working with strategic automation partners, stakeholders and internal customers to identify, design, build and support process automation through the use of Robotics, Business Process Management and other Intelligent Automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Delivery

Work with business and IT stakeholders to design, build and test automation solutions to replace manual business processes
Work together with Operations Excellence Leads and Business Analysts to complete business process assessment and project scoping
Implement technical solutions using a range of intelligent automation tools and technologies, e.g. Blue Prism Robotics, Alteryx, Tableau
An ability to configure Cloud services, and be aware of how to consume services via REST or SOAP APIs
Work with business stakeholders to perform quality assurance tests and User Acceptance Tests
Create and maintain technical documentation related to Automation projects, including solution design, build plan, technical specification and go-live release notes
Support changes to automation solutions once deployed into the live environment

Other responsibilities

Support the Automation & AI Lead to define and implement an Intelligent Automation approach for services such as Chat Bots, SMS etc
Support the Automation & AI Lead in scoping out and engaging with the business on work pipelines
Provide day to day technical support to the Automation Engineers
Upskill other Automation Engineers to utilise Intelligent Automation tooling

Risk & Compliance

Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
