We are brave, we are ambitious, we are honest, we are Citizens!
One of the UK’s most trusted social housing providers, Citizen owns and manages 30,000 homes across the West Midlands for diverse communities, from urban tower blocks to rural villages and towns. We provide more than just homes; we provide homes that are a foundation for life.
The coronavirus pandemic has significantly disrupted the repairs service we provide to our customers and we are already preparing to work through the huge demand there will be when we are able to safely resume our full service.
We are looking for Electricians to join our Maintenance Operations Team. Interested candidates should be qualified to City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition) and City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 & 3 or equivalent and have a full valid UK driving licence.
Candidates must be able to evidence experience of carrying out basic repairs associated with their core trade e.g. small areas of plaster patching, basic plumbing for showers, and basic carpentry for removal and re-fixing of floorboard and panels. Experience of working in a repairs and maintenance setting in social housing would be ideal but is not essential. Successful candidates will work 37 hours per week and will be assigned to one of our teams in Coventry, Birmingham or Worcester.
In this role you will be part of a 400-strong team which prides itself on delivering responsive repairs of the highest standard safely and efficiently. You will be provided with a company vehicle, uniform, full PPE and a hand-held device (PDA/smartphone).
We want people who are committed to completing repairs right first time, are health and safety conscious, and pride themselves on great customer service.
Does this sound like a team you want to be part of? If it is, we look forward to receiving your application.
