As part of Close Brother Motor Finance wide transformational programme (Motor2020), we are looking to build capability across our sales function. We have an ambition to become ‘market defining’ both for our Account Manager and Leadership teams.

Your role will be to design and deliver learning sessions for our Account Manager and Sales Managers population across the UK. Ensuring that they are able to meet business objectives and deliver a quality service to clients through a variety of 70/20/10 learning solutions that cover technical product, process, systems and soft skills.

The role will also involve coaching and mentoring our sales people supporting them from induction through to role competence and beyond

The role also requires knowledge and experience of the full Learning Cycle from needs analysis through to evaluation.

The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively nationwide including overnight stays, in order to meet the learning programme delivery schedule.

The Sales Trainer will be a key enabler of the change in CBMF Sales Function’s culture and abilities, supporting the People and Processes Workstream Lead in executing the programme objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design blended learning programmes including digital learning resources
Delivery of Sales Managers and Account Managers’ induction programme and responsible for the evaluation of the induction and induction sign off
Assess learner’s competency against sales competency standards
Support the embedding of the learning by accompanying Account and Sales Managers on field-based observations and feedback sessions.
Collaborate with the People and Processes workstream leads to ensure the solutions are fit for purpose and support the project by development, delivery and evaluation of L&D solutions
Regularly research and conduct best practice reviews looking at learning and development innovations and assessing their fit for purpose to ensure that learning solutions are future facing
Offer support, coaching and mentoring for the sales function
Maintain continuous professional development in Learning and Development
Provide specific expert training on account management in the Motor Finance industry, ensuring CBMF and our dealer partners are protected by adhering to regulation.
Maintain excellent and up to date knowledge of Motor Finance products
Maintain an awareness of the compliance issues around Motor Finance and be able to demonstrate awareness and changes within legislation – Work with the Governance Team to ensure that all material is compliant and recorded
Build and maintain relationships at all levels through effective stakeholder management
Pro-actively work with Sales Managers to identify training needs within their teams
Retain accurate version controls of all training material, working closely with the Processes team to ensure all material is up to date, standardised and compliant
Undertake the administration and preparation of learning solutions including the effective running of the LMS system to ensure all learning records are maintained

Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
