We have an opportunity for a permanent Change & Configuration Manager to join our IT team. You will report into the Head of Service Operations and be responsible for a team of three.
This role includes responsibility for ensuring the introduction of change in a predictable, repeatable and accountable manner, whilst minimising the risk of disruption to IT services, using ITIL, DevOps and Agile methodologies. You will ensure and lead effective and expedient delivery of change through the IT Change and Configuration Management function, operate as the Process Owner, define and enforce Change Management and Configuration policies, processes and associated procedures and continually improve them. You will be the custodian of the service transition lifecycle; develop and execute the Service Transition Process in order to lower the risk and minimise the impact of change related incidents upon service quality and consequently strive to improve day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to lead and deliver change, they will be able to demsontrate experience in the development, delivery and governance of ITIL compliant IT change, user their experience to process change within a DevOps and Agile environment. They will also have a solid understanding of current infrastructure technologies such as LAN, WAN, Server, Storage, Virtual Desktop and telephony.
