When you join Raven Housing as a Repairs Contracts Manager, you’ll have full responsibility for contractor performance related to all of the Trust’s responsive repairs and void operations.
You will procure and take full ownership of cost, quality and delivery of repairs contractors, provide contract management and, where necessary, project manage works. You will ensure that service users (tenants and leaseholders) are fully consulted with and engaged throughout works and that work is completed to satisfactory completion including investigating and resolving complaints with contractors, if necessary.
You’ll also be expected to establish close working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs, thus enabling the development of appropriate repairs related services to maximise overall best value.

You’ll lead and manage repair & void contractors and ensure close liaison between office-based staff and mobile trades teams. You’ll also jointly control and report on a £2.5m budget ensuring that work is completed on time and budget . And, when it comes to reporting on repairs and maintenance performance, ensuring standards and/or identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement, again, we’ll rely on you.
You’ll need a robust track record gained from working in the housing sector that includes managing projects, staff and contractors in a construction or maintenance environment and delivering strong customer service. You will be able to demonstrate sound commercial, financial and IT skills; a contract management qualification is desireable. You’ll need a full UK driving licence and a reliable means of transport.
