Are you looking for night-time work? Could you support people with learning disabilities through the night? Part-time, two shifts a week?

We love what we do and are recognised as an award winning charity for our passion and dedication. Come and join us a Waking Nights Support Worker and you'll soon see why..

Outline

During the day, our Support Workers help support our 7 residents to live as independently as possible by actively involved with their hobbies, likes and being part of their local community. Being an active bunch during the day, they'll usually need help from our night team with settling down for bedtime.

You will be available during the night to provide physical support and emotional reassurance for when the adults we support are wakeful; checking at regular intervals to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day.

You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota pattern covering nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Some people require help with personal care or medication. We will provide you with full training and with day-to-day help and advice from your Frontline manager and senior practitioners.

This really is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive difference to someone's life.

About us

We are an Award winning Charity that has the core belief that everyone has potential, something to offer and a valuable contribution to make to their community.

We use a person centered approach to keep the people we support safe, happy and healthy and to ensure each individual is able to live a life that makes sense to them. Using a Positive Behavior Support strategy ensures we see the person first, not their disability.
