Amazing opportunity to lead this team in a home which was successfully opened in April 2019. Already rated Good in all key lines and rated 10/10 with Carehome.co.uk. We are established in the local area with an excellent and growing reputation and we are now looking for a Home Manager to build on all the great work that has been achieved to date. Does this sound like it could be you?
So, what does the job involve?
The Home Manager manages staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life. Working closely with your Clinical Lead, and wider teams, you will ensure the quality of individual service, and nursing care consistently meets our own high standards and those of our external regulators.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement. Your main responsibilities are to strive for excellence in the individualised, person-centred care of residents; building levels of resident occupancy by continuing to actively engage with the community, manage budgets and to recruit, retain and support team members across all departments of the home.
The role is complex, influential and highly rewarding, involving close liaison with residents and their families, the healthcare team and external professional contacts.
Competitive salary, bonus and benefits. Full induction and ongoing training provided, supported by a network of clinical and professional support teams.
Bourne View is an International design award winning home with 68 beautiful bedrooms, amazing communal and outdoor spaces. All designed with the resident in mind. Seeing is believing!
More about you
Essential to the role is relevant care home management experience, sound knowledge of care home management and an excellent track record of performance in line with CQC standards and expectations. A nursing qualification is preferred but not essential.
You'll bring experience of working within the private sector in medium to large nursing home and fully understand the marketing and commercial aspects of the business. You will bring passion to the role and above all a “can do” attitude.
You will match our core values, demonstrating that you are friendly, kind, honest and reassuring. As an effective leader and communicator, you'll share our goal of delivering excellence in person-centred care across all departments of the home. That means cherishing the individual needs of residents and their families and putting those needs at the centre of everything we do each day.
