We are looking for a Detox Worker with experience in the substance use field for this exciting role in our Forward Leeds service.
The primary purpose of the post is to engage with service users who are at a stage of readiness to begin the process of community and/or residential detox. You will be expected to provide information and support around a range of health and social issues that are associated with substance misuse.
As part of the team, you will be required to undertake home visits, some evening work will also be involved.
The service operates from three locations in Leeds. You will be a team member of the Detox & Rehabilitation Team. You may be based at any of the three sites, working alongside colleagues from all the other elements which are part of the Forward Leeds service. The role also requires you to keep up to date with continuous professional development.
