This is an exciting opportunity to apply for an iLearn Lead (LRC) post to support our journey to outstanding. These posts are brand new and will be pivotal in shaping our support for students and their independent learning skill development at campus level, supporting all curriculum teams across each campus. Formerly the LRC team, iLearn (Independent Learning) as a team has been through a great change in focus to ensure that we are geared up to support learning beyond the four walls of a classroom. As part of a team, you will provide excellent customer service and assistance for students in supporting and empowering students to make progress away from the traditional classroom setting. You will drive the development of learner’s skills and knowledge around being independent learners. Responsibilities will include leading a team, comprising a number of different roles, at a campus level. Your teams focus will be on delivering sessions and activities to learners, and working to support small groups around the development of their independent learning skills. You will probably be the type of person who has great communication and negotiation skills, is well organised and has a passion for supporting others in their development to support learners. We are looking for someone who is innovative and creative and who can pass on their enthusiasm onto their team and also the curriculum departments you would service.
