Yorkshire Housing are recruiting for an Electrical Compliance Administrator to join our Health and Safety team based in Leeds City Centre on a 12 month FTC.

The role will be part of our Health and Safety team, leading in the provision of electrical compliance works ensuring that the business remains 100% compliant at all times. This will involve developing processes and working closely with other business areas ensuring compliance works are completed successfully, following agreed policies and relevant legislation.

What will I be doing?

You will form part of a team contributing to the achievement of Yorkshire Housing’s corporate objectives to deliver excellent services which when measured are top quartile ratings in customer satisfaction, embedding good practice and identifying areas for improvement in our gas services.

Planning and scheduling of compliance works (e.g. , fixed wire testing, PAT testing), ensuring they are efficiently and effectively adhering to all internal policies, processes and procedures. This will involve liaising and coordination with various stakeholders

Ensuring the customer is informed of any changes to scheduling/planning and that alternative options are presented so the property stays compliant at all times. Internally, you will ensure all diaries are up to date with all training, sickness and holiday periods and any other relevant information required for effective planning.

You will produce and present regular and ad-hoc reports on compliance activities and KPI’s ensuring all data is accurate and up to date and presented in an understandable format.

Additional key requirements include:

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths
Good understanding and experience of repairs scheduling / planning systems.
Experience of working on electrcial compliance works (e.g fixed wire testing)
Be able to produce complex reports using a wide variety of data
Great communication skills with the ability to liaise with various business areas
Good level of IT Skills

We are looking for someone to start asap due to a backlog from Covid-19 and the need to support our vulnerable customers.

This is a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) role. This role will be based at our Dysons Chambers, Leeds office.

Must be willing to work on rotation between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
