We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Controller to join our business, working with our client Kraft Heinz, who are the fifth largest food manufacturer in the world. Kraft Heinz operates in more than 100 countries and markets more than 80 consumer brands, including, Heinz, HP, Kraft, Lea and Perrins, Planters, and many more.

Employed by ShopSmart, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction for a national field team, adding value and driving commercial development initiatives for the Kraft Keinz brand. You will take responsibility for the delivery and execution of agreed strategies though the effective management of the Kraft Keinz field operation.

Role Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Team Leadership / Management –

Lead and coach direct reports to ensure field team achieve agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
Attend monthly meetings with internal Account Managers from within the group to discuss operational standards, opportunities and continued effective client support for all services.
Project manage any company initiatives that are assigned ensuring delivery on time and to budget

KPI’s/ Performance –

Develop and agree KPI’s aligned with client requirements against short and long-term objectives.
Control of all budgets, managing costs ensuring accurate budgetary management

Reporting / Insight / Evaluation –

Evaluate all available data (Market, Channel, Fascia, Brand, etc.) to provide relevant insight to drive the client performance.
Identify and ‘sell in’ relevant group insight products and services wherever possible to drive increased performance

Client Relationship Development –

Build key relationships with relevant people within the clients business, dedicating regular time where appropriate at client offices working together on the ongoing results and strategy
Use your teams expertise and experience to feedback essential information in-store

Role Requirements:

The ideal Account Controller candidate will:

Be excited about leading, building and motivating a team to represent a great brand, show resilience, drive and tenacity to succeed
Have previous brand manufacturer retailer experience (essential criteria) and bring that knowledge through to the field team ways of working
Understand the drivers of the financial performance of the retailers, regions and category; able to explain variances to Annual Operating Plan & Year on Year performance
Be confident in your ability to adapt and simplify the messaging to all audiences ranging from Senior stakeholders, Field sales executives and finance partners
Have excellent time management, able to manage business as usual alongside short-notice ad-hoc requests
Be able to think on your feet and outside the box; views change is seen as a positive thought process.
Hold a full driving licence and be able to travel nationally. Some overnight stays may be required
