The role

Are you highly motivated? Positive and approachable? If so, then we want you to be part of the Accounts Payable team at emh group!!

Supporting the Payments Manager in the provision of a purchase ledger for all Group and Associated Companies, you will accurately process all purchase ledger transactions from invoice receipt to authorisation and payment through the computerised system.

As one of a team of 4 reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, you will be involved in a wide variety of daily, weekly and monthly tasks taking responsibility for your own allocated company within the group.

You will maintain effective controls over the purchase ledger including the accurate upkeep of suppliers, adding and amending details on the system in accordance with the team’s detailed procedures

You’ll be processing vital financial information, therefore attention to detail is critical. You will be computer literate and have experience in dealing with customer queries

You’ll be instrumental in achieving weekly and month end deadlines, therefore ability to work under pressure and attention to detail is critical in this role

Qualifications

Educated to a GCSE level in English and Maths (minimum grade C) or equivalent
