We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety/Facilities Manager to join our team based in Cardiff working in a demanding, yet rewarding environment.

We are a large transport operator based within the City of Cardiff operating 20 hours of the day. As a key role within our business you will have a large range of responsibilities and be involved in each area of the organisation.

Someone who can continue to ensure compliance with our current policies and procedures, ensuring risk assessments and incident management systems are in place
Who has a passion for Safety, Health and Environment.
Who is able to manage and drive forward some key initiatives, both relating to EHS and Facilities Management.
Who has great flexibility and good team working ethics.
Who has a passion and drive for continuous improvement.

Your experience?

You need to have an IOSH qualification and preferably NEBOSH.
Experience of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and implementation of updated standards.
A proven track record of continuous improvement of Health and Safety.
Have chaired Health and Safety Committees.
A First Aid at Work qualification.
Be able to deliver induction, training and development in this field.
Familiarisation with compliance outside of H&S eg GDPR/Facilities.
Have demonstrable Project Management skills
You need good organisational skills.
