Do you believe education need not be restricted to the classroom? Have you worked with young people with SEN? Then we would like to hear from you.
MacIntyre works in partnership with local colleges to deliver bespoke learning programmes to young people with a range of special educational needs. As a Programme Manager you will lead MacIntyre’s educational teams across locations in the East Midlands, managing the provision of imaginative and bespoke educational programmes. This may also include visits to college partners in Wiltshire. This is a full-time role, 52 weeks a year.
You will need a professional qualification from a teaching, social work or other relevant background, and experience of working within special education, ideally at FE level. You will work closely with our partner colleges to deliver outstanding education and outcomes to the young people MacIntyre works with. You must have both a good understanding of the issues facing young people with learning disabilities and complex needs, and a track record in managing staff teams constructively, able to lead, challenge and motivate. It would be helpful if you have experience in business and finance.
You will travel extensively between our different locations, primarily in East Midlands, Warwickshire and occasionally Wiltshire so you must be a driver with your own transport.
