Here at Concrete we’re making homelessness history, it’s a big statement, but we’re not alone in achieving it. We’re part of the national movement tackling homelessness.

We’re looking for TWO Assistant Development Coaches to join our Nights team at our supported housing scheme in Stoke.

You’ll be working during the night, with care leavers and young people in partnership with the YMCA. You’ll make sure that customers are safe and well in their homes, whilst also making sure they’re good neighbours, aware of their surroundings and mediate if there are any problems. From time to time you’ll take emergency referrals, sign-post customers to other services and welcome new customers to the scheme.

You’ll be working at night managing the building of our supported housing scheme making sure our young customers are safe and well, ensuring customers are good neighbours in the community, ensuring they follow health and safety guidance and mediate if there are any problems. From time to time you may take emergency referrals, sign-post customers to other services and welcome new customers.

You’ll be working with customers alone alongside managing the building during the night, so we need someone who is flexible and adaptable who can work night shifts and is self-motivated and calm under pressure. Ideally, we’re looking for someone with knowledge and experience of working with young people, mental health, safeguarding and can understand the barriers that young people face.

The successful person for this role will need to be DBS checked.

Help us to give those without a plan, voice or home to build concrete futures by tackling the issues that keep people from finding their own home.
