We are looking for someone to work on the day to day management of these non-social-rent products. Ideally you will have worked in a property or social landlord environment before, but we are really looking for someone who is comfortable working with a range of property types and leases who can pick things up quickly. We are developing our policy in this area and you will have the opportunity to help shape this. You, along with an advisor you will manage, will be responsible for all areas of the day to day management of these products such as lettings and sales and dealing with rent arrears and other breaches of tenancy/lease. Working with external professionals such as property solicitors, estate agents and local authorities, you will be confident and have good communication skills. This post will offer a good opportunity if you are new to staff management or really want to gain experience in different products. You will be able to remain calm when dealing with difficult situations or changing demands, have good problem solving skills and have a real passion for service improvement. This post is based at High Street, Castle Vale in Birmingham, although initially it is expected that you will work from home for a period whilst we evaluate our services in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. You must therefore be IT literate and able to communicate well via video conferencing packages. You will be able to work with minimum supervision, although you will be fully supported in this role, working closely with the Head of Housing and Customer Services.
