We have a vacancies for Part time male* Support Workers at our Supported Living facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire.

About the role

You will be working in our Supported Living service located in Ampthill. The people we support are all gentlemen aged in their 40’s and 60’s, quite independent and with a variety of different interests. We support them with the everyday things around their homes, such as cooking and cleaning, as well as leisure activities, education opportunities and skills for personal development.

People we support at this service enjoy attending Football matches, concerts, circuses and air shows. We support them to go on holidays, day trips and evenings out. You'll help the men to learn new skills, enabling them to become more independent and take control of their lives.

You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Firstly, you don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no two days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring and it’s something you’ll never forget.

As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.

It is essential for these positions that you hold a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, as you will be required to drive the service people carrier. You must also have one year's driving experience to comply with the insurance requirements.
