Job Title: Estates Officer
Location: Barnsley Academy, Barnsley.
Salary: £17,843 - £20,292 depending on experience
About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a flexible and hardworking Estates Officer to join our Estates Team at Barnsley Academy. Applications from Hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week. Shift patterns will incorporate the opening times of the academy (6am-8pm) with an expectancy that shift times will be either 6am-2pm or 12noon-8pm, applicants will need to be flexible to support during these times.
The successful postholder will be based at Barnsley Academy but may also be required to work at our sites within the Yorkshire cluster of secondary schools (Sheffield Park Academy or Sheffield Springs Academy) should staffing needs arise. For this reason, the ability to travel to all three sites is essential.
Previous experience in a similar/caretaking role is desirable however full training can be provided for those without direct work experience.
Overtime at weekends may also be available when business need arises. This post is being advertised on a permanent basis.

Someone who has previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
The successful applicant must hold a driving licence, it would also be desirable for the successful candidate to have the ability to drive a mini bus.
