Regenda is now recruiting for an Independent Living Housing Officer to work with our Independent Living team in Lancashire.

About the role

The Independent Living Housing Officer will manage four ‘Over Wyre’ schemes (in Great Eccleston, Pilling, Preesall and Hambleton) whilst carrying out the health and safety checks at two locations in Fleetwood. You will carry out daily welfare calls, deliver personal visits at specified times throughout the week, report repairs and review and carry out tenant outcome stars (support plans). This role will also provide support, guidance and signpost tenants to live independently whilst providing cover at other sheltered schemes in the Wyre area where necessary.

We are searching for someone who possesses experience in delivering high quality, customer facing housing services. You will have a determined, ‘can do’ attitude and also possess knowledge of sheltered housing and tenancy management issues. The ideal candidate will also have experience of working in partnerships with other agencies and experience of supporting vulnerable residents.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrable experience of working effectively with colleagues, contractors, vulnerable tenants and their families / advocates in order to deliver a high-quality service. You will also be able to work to agreed deadlines and targets, demonstrating outstanding organisational and time management skills.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
