Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, the Learning Manager is responsible for the delivery of the full range of learning and development solutions for the Premium Finance business based in Wimbledon.
The role is responsible for the design and operational delivery of tailored learning solutions to meet business objectives, using a range of delivery channels and with demonstrable return on investment. The role works closely with the business leadership team, project managers and HR business partners to ensure new joiners are successfully inducted, and new products and changes in process are rolled out in an engaging, blended format.
Credibility, pragmatism and creativity are key to this role, as is the ability to build quick and solid relationships with key business stakeholders.
Work closely with the Head of L&D, the HR Business Partner and Business Leadership team to define and regularly review the learning agenda to ensure we remain future focused, commercial and agile
Manage stakeholder relationships (Business leadership team / Heads of) to clearly understand the businesses short- and long-term learning needs; to improve operational and strategic agility and drive performance. Liaise with internal subject matter experts to keep learning content up to date, relevant and innovative
Coach and line manage the (junior) Technical Trainers who deliver for the Premium Finance business
Manage the business induction programme ensuring that all new starters attend within the first 60 days of their employment with Close Brothers (regulatory requirement)
Lead the design and delivery of appropriate learning solutions including product, technical and behavioural development using our 702010 frame-work and our on-line academy, as well as practical and engaging workshops
Drive modern learning intervention design, including blended and digital learning
Manage the learning and development budget for Premium Finance
Measure the impact and return on investment of a range of learning activity, continuously reviewing the quality of learning initiatives
Drive the utilisation of the Apprenticeship Levy for client groups; ensuring that professional qualifications are well managed and funded by the levy
