Are you looking for weekend night shifts? Could you support people with a learning disability, making sure they get a good night's sleep? Then this may be the job for you!

You'll work 28.5 hours a week, over Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights. You will be working at a household in Crownhill which is home to seven people with a learning disability. The team help people to live as independently as possible by being actively involved with their hobbies, and being part of their local community. Being an active bunch during the day, they'll usually need help from our night team with settling down for bedtime. That's where you come in!

You will be available during the night to provide physical support and emotional reassurance when the people we support are wakeful, checking at regular intervals to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day. Some people require help with personal care or medication. You may also need to carry out some domestic tasks overnight, such as putting a load of washing on.

We will provide you with full training and with day-to-day help and advice from your manager and senior team members.
