Are you an innovative and effective Senior Operational Leader in the Health or Social Care Sector with a proven record of making a positive contribution to the lives of people with a learning disability and/or autism? if so we want to hear from you!
You will have commercial experience, the ability to spot an opportunity, and the drive and ambition to deliver our plans for growth and development. You will also need to ensure that all services are person-centred, values based and have effective systems in place.
You will join us as one of two Operational Directors overseeing our provision for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, many of whom have complex needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
Demonstrate strong and visible leadership to ensure our day-to-day delivery reflects the common value base of the organisation
Effectively manage and develop Heads of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring all quality and compliance standards are met
Drive forward commercial plans for growth and development
Develop productive relationships with all stakeholders including people supported by MacIntyre and their families
Have substantial operations and commercial acumen
Work with and negotiate contracts with funders
Have regulatory sector knowledge and experience within Social Care for England and Wales
Develop opportunities for collaborative and partnership working and in particular with other providers including housing providers
Understand the changing commissioning landscape and make recommendations for MacIntyre’s role to the Trustees
Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
We are particularly keen to hear from people who have an excellent track record in developing and overseeing Outstanding support for people with learning disabilities, who can deliver to our plans for supporting people who are moving out of assessment and treatment units, and who can support our Area Managers as they continue to connect with a range of local stakeholders to ensure the needs of local people are met.
The role will involve extensive national travel, including to our Central Head Office in Milton Keynes, so you must be a driver with your own transport.
