We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our business, supporting our partnership with our client Nestlé, working directly with key stakeholder and based from the Nestlé office in Gatwick for a minimum of 2 days per week.

Employed by Reach, you will be joining our high-performing team with responsibility for driving Nestlé brand performance, awareness and availability across major UK retailers. You will work in partnership with Nestlé Business/Category Managers, with responsibility for supporting Reach’s field operation.

Role Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Working in partnership with the Nestlé Field Operations team to lead the monthly planning meetings with Business Managers for all relevant categories, channels and fascias
Line management of an Operations Executive, supporting them in the delivery of all associated tools and sales materials for the next 30- and 60-days
Agree 30 60 90-day field plans, ensuing they are it is in line with category strategies and Annual Operating Plan
Producing relevant briefing materials, associated tools and reporting scripts to the field teams
Review field activity, working with key stakeholders to utilise insight and data to drive continuous improvements and agree future requirements
Review and recommend optimisation of current working practices to ensure that the operation is fit for purpose

Role Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar operations management role – ideally from an FMCG or retail operations background, although we will also consider applications from ambitious and motivated individuals with experience from other sectors.
Previous line management responsibility desirable.
You will be excited about representing a great brand, show resilience, drive and tenacity to succeed.
You must hold a full driving licence and be able to travel – role based from Gatwick a minimum of two days per week (balanced with field visits and working from home when not in the office).
IT literate, proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Good commercial awareness, attention to detail and problem solving skills
Able to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
