Full range of duties £19.31 plus holiday pay of £2.33 £21.64
Delivery only £16.28 plus holiday pay of £1.96 £18.24
Non-teaching £11.63 plus holiday pay of £1.40 £13.03
Could you spare a few hours a week to help engage and inspire the next generation of lawyers or criminologists? You may already work within the legal industry or you may have worked in the police.
We are seeking highly talented and suitably experienced individual(s) to join our expanding A level and Access Criminology and Law teaching team, who are passionate about teaching to enable high achieving students reach their potential and who crave to understand more about these interesting subjects. Your talents may include the ability to teach just law or criminology or both. You will be able to inspire students’ practical understanding and application and appreciate and enjoy Criminology and/or Law, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding.
Deliver quality teaching and learning
Participate in departmental and cross college events
Support all students to achieve their goals
Support the team and head of academy to ensure the continued success and growth of the area
Skills and Qualifications (Ideal, however do not be put off by these, if you have the experience and the drive we can support)
GCSE English Language and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or other Level 2 equivalent
Teacher qualification/and or teaching experience
Relevant industrial experience within the law and / or criminology
Experience of teaching and tutoring on A Level Criminology and / or Law ideally Access programmes relating to law and criminology
