Leeds City College SEND team is expanding due to the increase in the number of students we support. We currently have a vacancy for a SEND Support Lead at our new Quarry Hill Campus. The successful applicant would be part of a growing and developing OUSTANDING (OFSTED) department. You should be experienced in managing student SEND needs and leading a team of Learning Support staff. The role includes managing all aspects of support required by SEND students across the 14-18 years and High needs groups. It is essential to have knowledge of different SEND strategies, support groups along with first-hand experience of the EHCP and Exam Access Arrangements processes. You should have excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice including preparation for adulthood and exemplar customer service. The post includes close working with internal curriculum teams and external agencies.
