This role is a 6-12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

What you’ll bring

These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success for this role, however we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them;

3+ years of post ACA qualified experience (CIMA and ACCA would also be considered) including Technical Accounting experience under IFRS;
Proven experience in a group finance environment, dealing with consolidation and working closely with divisional finance teams, ideally within a PLC;
Previous audit and year end close and reporting experience would also be beneficial, as would an awareness of the importance and characteristics of a first class financial control environment;
Excellent communication and problem solving skills, comfortable with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
A proactive attitude and the confidence to meet often conflicting and changing deadlines.

What we’ll give you

You’ll be issued with a company laptop and a fantastic benefits package which includes lifestyle benefits like gym discounts, a cycle to work scheme and even free fruit all week! You’ll also get practical things like 25 days holiday, a contributory pension, lifestyle savings and a healthcare cash plan, so whenever the time comes and you need some help with your health, we’ll make sure you’re not out of pocket and life assurance to give you some peace of mind.

Free on-site parking is available close to the office, which is also a short walk from local bus routes. Core hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5 with an element of flexibility required.
