The role

Glenmoor & Winton Academies are looking to appoint a highly experienced and professional Strategic IT Manager to ensure that ICT provision meets the learning and teaching needs of all staff and students, taking account of the requirements for economy, efficiency and effectiveness in the utilisation of available resources.

The Strategic IT Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of an IT Service to the academies, they will assist in developing the IT Service, whilst nurturing positive relationships with all stakeholders within the academies.

The post-holder will provide professional leadership and operational management to the team, taking responsibility for the management and development of the team, implementing service standards and developing common systems and processes based on industry best practice. They will ensure that the IT Support is efficient, effective and can adapt to changing circumstances.

The Strategic IT Manager will be expected to display excellent interpersonal skills at all times with all stakeholders (parents, students, staff and United Learning).
