SPD are currently recruiting for an Associate Technical Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team in Bedford, reporting directly into the Marketing Director of Global Pregnancy (based in Geneva). This role supports our pregnancy portfolio in order to drive business growth and long-term Brand Building. The role also leads the delivery of quality compliance within the marketing team through ownership of relevant marketing processes. This is a full time, permanent position.

Main responsibilities

Deliver current business growth through supporting delivery of NEW launch marketing toolkits and commercial innovation on existing products
Work with global agencies to support development of all toolkit elements including lifestyle and product photography, digital media, in store assets, print, TV etc.
Support development of product labelling and instructions (for global rollout) including leading consumer research studies to validate as required
Technical marketing leadership for innovation projects in R&D
Offer support for local country marketing (SMO) and Delivery teams to advise on compliant marketing asset adaptation as required
Lead approval of new claims and identify new claims opportunities with the Marketing Director Global Pregnancy including leading marketing input into clinical studies to deliver strongest claims
Create, maintain and update claim documents to ensure product and study claims are captured appropriately
Pregnancy Design single point of contact in the change management process
Lead compliance with, maintain and improve working processes/quality system relating to marketing

Person Specification

The role holder requires a versatile skill set encompassing consumer insight, scientific knowledge, quality assurance and marketing skills.

Graduate (Science Degree preferred, or good understanding of female human reproductive biology)
Commercial/marketing and/or consumer facing experience desirable but not essential
Good writing skills and exceptional attention to detail is essential
Proficient IT skills essential (including database management and Microsoft Office suite)
Would suit individual with background/interest in science, seeking to retain ‘scientific stimulation’ whilst moving into a more consumer-focussed / marketing role
Must be enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to manage diverse activities and projects simultaneously, working to tight deadlines
Able to communicate at all levels of the business
Limited business travel must be acceptable
Experience with QMS and audits desirable
