Working within the Operational Finance Team you will be responsible for the Service Charge Team ensuring the correct setting and reviewing of Service Charges for new and existing schemes including those in our Care and Support area of business.
You will add value by co-ordinating the annual rent and service charge review process working with the Operational Finance Manager ensuring compliance with government guidelines.
As a skilled Service Charge Team Leader your work links direct to the bigger picture to improve lives in line with our 2025 business strategy.
For this post, knowledge of Housing is not necessarily needed, but we are looking for people who are organised and methodical with a meticulous eye for detail who can adapt well and work under pressure.
You will ideally;
Developed yourself and attained AAT or equivalent qualification
Possess good IT skills and be committed to improving skills in this and other areas through continuous training and development, living our “push the boundaries value”.
Knowledge of Service Charge accounting principles and techniques.
Knowledge of Housing Benefit regulations.
Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders whilst also leading and developing a high performing team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Very good attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
