Both of our Cambridgeshire services provides accommodation for people aged 55 and over. Bircham House comprises 30 one and two-bed flats and Willowbank comprises 36 one and two-bed extra care flats. We’re looking for an experienced Registered Care Manager to work across these two friendly services.
Both of these services are easily accessible with strong transport links to Cambridge and surrounding road networks.

When you join us as a Registered Care Manager at our two Extra Care Schemes in Cambridgeshire (Bircham House, Sawston and Willowbank, Cambridge) you'll be integral in leading our team that helps our customers to live independently. You’ll be motivated by delivering both excellent and professional services that meet the aspirations of our customers in line with the CQC fundamental standards
The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:
Must have Registered Manager Status (CQC) or be willing to work towards this.
An awareness and understanding of care and support needs of older people
Staff management experience of creating an motivating high performing teams, with the ability to coach, enable and develop staff
Excellent knowledge and passion in the provision of care services and Care Quality Commission standards.
To have a tenacious and creative approach when working with a diverse range of people
Enthusiastic, approachable and flexible attitude in delivering heartfelt care to our customers.
A team player who can work across operational boundaries and is customer focused, fostering positive relationships.
Have experience of managing care in an extra care setting and constructing effective rota’s.
Full driving licence and vehicle available for use and be willing to travel between the two sites
Provide out of hours emergency on-call support
