ABOUT US At Center Parcs all our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards, so we need a team to uphold these standards and exceed guest expectation. Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to Lodges and Treehouses, and for looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Linen and Support Assistant you will collect and deliver supplies of linen items and inventory to guest accommodation in a timely and efficient manner. Main duties will include: Working within our laundry which will involve loading and unloading washing and drying machines Making cleaning packs and folding towels and robes Delivery and collection of bed linen and towels Loading and unloading stock from vehicles, assisting with all moving and delivery of beds, sofas, cots, high chairs and other furniture as required and undertaking weekly van inspections The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and a willingness to learn. You will also have excellent customer service skills and be willing to work outside in all weathers. Please note that this role involves heavy physical work. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 38 hours per 4 week period. Your working hours are Monday and Friday 10am - 2.45pm and will include some public / bank holidays on a rota basis. Around each Village, the Food and Beverage department employs around 350 team members across nine different restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a production kitchen. Responsibilities will include maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, carrying out cleaning duties as specified by the kitchen manager and adhering to company COSHH regulations and ISO standards. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 60 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Your hours of work will fall between 5pm and 12 midnight and will include working weekends and some public / bank holidays on a rota basis. Your role will be to assist with managing a team of colleagues in order to deliver budgeted financial targets, service targets and operational standards, whilst ensuring our guests' experience is memorable and unique. You should display a positive image in both appearance & gesture, be able to listen to our guests & take ownership of queries or issues. In addition you will need to take duty management responsibility of the Center Parcs owned retail outlets on a defined shift basis. HOURS OF WORK Please note this is a fixed-term contract until August 2019 You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each 4 week period. You will be working on a rota system, the earliest shift start time is 6.30am and the latest finish time is 9.30pm. You will be required to work some weekends and public / bank holidays on a rota basis. Dining In, is a busy takeaway restaurant offering fantastic guest service, a prompt delivery service and collection of Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisine. Your main duties will include; taking orders over the telephone and face-to-face with guests, collating and checking food orders and making deliveries to guest accommodation around the village. You will also be cash handling, for which full training is given. You will ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen area are maintained to a high standard, and ensure that all company and legal requirements are met at all times. You will assist the Housekeeping management team in the smooth and efficient running of the housekeeping division, managing a team of Supervisors and up to 200 colleagues. This varied and diverse role will include: Assisting with the organisation and allocation of duties relating to the housekeeping cleaning operation, ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved and maintained at all times. Assisting with managing budgets and payroll costs to ensure all divisional targets are achieved, without compromising our level of customer care. The effective recruitment and selection of housekeeping colleagues and the coordination and evaluation of training needs within the division. The general welfare, motivation and development of direct reports, including the monitoring of standards in line with company policy. HOURS OF WORK Please note this is a 1 year fixed-term contract. You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period, working on a flexible basis. This means your hours and days of work could vary each week, so you will need to be flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends and some public / bank holidays.
