Position Purpose The After Sales Manager is responsible for driving and delivering the Aftersales quality and service through their team and EMEA. They are also responsible for business analysis, workflow, logistical planning, customer relationship management and people development. We need this person to speak French, to have come from watch after-sales. Overview of Role This role of After Sales Manager is to provide leadership to the After ales Department and boutique Watchmakers, to ensure the team consistently offering a high level of service. This is through managing key duties involve acting as a main point of contact for senior managers and corporate Boutiques Managers for any Aftersales and Accessories. It is important to work with a high attention to detail and to set timelines, ensuring excellent levels of customer service, reporting and administration. Main Responsibilities Service Build relationships internal and external partners and deal with queries as required. Develop and implement a clear service strategy for your areas of responsibility ensuring alignment with the retail strategy. Ensure all direct reports and their teams fully understand and deliver quality and service standards. Own and monitor the area performance and service results through delivering appropriate action to maximise performance and sharing this with Watchmaker Manager. Manage the relationship with Retail teams and work with the Head Office to maximise concession sales within the area. Commercial Maintain optimum staff levels that allow for the best possible customer service. Work with the Commercial team to ensure the new products are quality checked and ready for allocation to meet client demands. Use the appropriate tools to analyse aftersales performance, review and take corrective action where necessary. Capitalise on business opportunities and present to the Senior Retail Operations Manager ideas to improve the operations and service performance. Monitor and control inventory levels, including replenishment orders and regular stock takes Systems knowledge Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of accounting system, including invoicing and inventory management. Communicate SAV standards and ensure that all within the department understand these standards and deliver against them. Understand and properly execute all systems, and departmental operating procedures. Build strong working relationships with other business areas from HQ, Factory, EMEA Head office and Boutique teams. Leadership, training and Employee Development Provide leadership for the team, setting clear direction and providing regular feedback. Ensure that only the highest calibre of people is recruited into the business so that all members of aftersales deliver the competencies required of the role, project the right image and can deliver The company high level of customer service. Ensure that the People Review process is followed with clear objectives, a development plan, and an annual performance review. Follow up monthly. Provide challenging and stretching tasks and assignments to achieve. Develop strong presence and leadership on SAV by spending time with Boutique Manager and networking to identify issues and resolving them. Actively coach the team to maximise service opportunities and develop them to reach the next level. Create a positive work environment that results in turnover and sickness and absence reduction. Being a troubleshooter for the business on detail on timepieces and stock process. Liaison with Factory for any Aftersales related matters and always look at the best solution to support our client experience. Requirements Ideally already working in an assistant role or similar, preferably in luxury industry. Speak French from Watches Watch after-sales. Ability to multi task with a fluctuating workload. A team player, that is able to work on their own. Ability to stay calm under pressure. Methodical and thorough approach to work. Ability to apply common sense. Having polished communication skills verbal and written. Give support and care in terms of both practical advice and action in areas where competence, knowledge and experience are needed.
