Wellingborough Homes is a provider of affordable housing and support services in the East Midlands. We own and manage around 4,600 homes with a £23 million turnover and our mission is to “work successfully with our customers and communities to provide great services and high quality living environments.” We are currently seeking to appoint a Governance Officer, who will also act as Deputy Company Secretary.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly organised professional, in delivering a comprehensive service to the Board, ensuring the highest possible standards of effective governance. This role will play a key role in helping to shape our future.
With responsibility for providing a high quality, proactive corporate governance service, this role will coordinate all constitutional and governance matters.
You will have a good working knowledge of effective governance, combined with excellent communications skills enabling you to work with the Board and Executive Management Team, building positive working relationships, both internally and externally. You should have experience of working in a busy environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet key deadlines.
You will be effective at problem solving and have decision making skills that provide assurance that you are able to operate confidently in delivering the service.
