We’re recruiting for a Rents & Service Charges Manager based in Portsmouth on a full time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.
As Rents & Service Charges Manager, you’ll manage a team of staff to calculate and set rents, service charges and utility charges for all of our properties, currently 30,000, on an annual basis. In addition, you’ll lead on the delivery of annual leaseholder and shared ownership service charge accounts in accordance with the lease requirements. You’ll be the finance team subject matter expert on all aspects of rent setting, service charges, utilities and other rechargeable tenancy related items, ensuring you are technically up to date with government policy and regulatory standards. You’ll be responsible for the implementation of the organisation’s policies governing rents and service charges, ensuring compliance with Government policy and the regulatory standards.
You must be an effective communicator who’s able to drive a motivate their team to provide excellent customer service. You’ll be an accomplished report writer with the ability to produce concise accurate updates as required. In this role, your key to success will be your ability to foster good relationships with departmental and operational colleagues.
