We are currently seeking a Service Manager to ensure a high quality service is provided to people living in our older people's housing schemes.
The post is part of the Supported Housing department and has specific responsibility for the group wide management of older peoples’ housing services (excluding Extra Care schemes managed by the Extra Care Housing Manager.)
Leading and managing the team to develop sustainable and cohesive communities, you will ensure a holistic and comprehensive service is provided by developing positive working relationships with external support and care providers and with internal departments such as property services, customer accounts and lettings teams. Further to this you will also manage the performance of the team in managing schemes and delivering agreed targets.
The successful candidate must be a member of CIH and possess a general or technical education beyond GCSE e.g. 2 or more A Levels/NVQ3 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level. Excellent customer service skills and experience of undertaking a social housing role is essential. Further to this demonstrable evidence of understanding issues facing older people, particularly those with disabilities or lower incomes is required. In addition you must have the ability to manage people in line with corporate policies and procedures, e.g. performance, capability, conduct, reward, sickness etc.
Due to the nature of the role the requirement to travel across all GreenSquare sites as required and to work flexibly is needed.
