About the role:
We require an experienced Programme Manager to manage, lead and progress the GDC’s estates programme. The GDC is opening a new office in Birmingham and will be relocating c90 jobs from late 2018 through to early 2019. You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure critical activities such as setting up the new building, recruitment, I.T and facilities are delivered on-time and within budget.
You will be required to respond to urgent organisational demands swiftly and with minimal direction, while managing and leading programme/project teams to deliver shared goals and objectives for the project.
Experience of similar relocation projects would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have experience of project and programme management and an understanding of key methodologies/strategies in these areas. (Prince 2 and/or MSP desirable).
Evidence of successfully leading programmes and projects and delivering significant change initiatives, including people and cultural change, is also required.
Effective time management, demonstrable initiative, logical thinking and problem solving with the ability to work independently across sites will also be key to success.
