About the role:



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join our busy team and manage all aspects of a new build construction site ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will drive projects forward to complete sites on time, to budget and to an exceptionally high standard. This will involve being responsible for a wide range of direct labour and sub-contractors from recruitment to training and performance monitoring.



With a strong commitment to continuous improvement of service delivery, you will identify and develop more efficient methods of completing site activities. An excellent communicator, you will build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including tenants and neighbours.



We are looking for a positive and proactive team player with previous experience of the new build construction industry and in particular new housing projects to make this role a success. With a relevant qualification in a construction-related discipline or with equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience, you will be SMSTS, First Aid at work and CSCS card qualified and have experience of managing Health and Safety on site. Experience of budget management and building contracts at site management level would be advantageous.



This challenging role would suit a highly organised Manager who can thrive under pressure and prioritise effectively to meet strict time deadlines without compromising on quality. A flexible approach to travel and working hours is required (a company van will be provided for travel between sites).



Appointment rate will be dependent on experience and qualification and subject to satisfactory performance, incremental progression may be available on a two-yearly basis.



Employees must have satisfactorily completed 16 weeks of their probation period before being considered for other posts within the organisation.
