Our Flexicare Housing schemes at North Hertfordshire Homes are purpose-built properties for individuals 55+ with care support needs. Our tenants live in a self contained flat and maintain their independence with use use of communal facilities.
We currently have positions available for experienced Care Workers to join our CQC registered Supported Living services.
Permanent positions are for a fixed location where staff are assigned to one site of work and work as part of a rolling monthly rota. Bank positions are also available should you wish to work on a none salaried contracted hours basis around your own commitments.
The main purpose of this role is to provide a high quality service to our residents. You will be responsible for providing personal care, providing assistance with administering medication and dealing with emergency calls.
Job role includes:
Rolling monthly rota; through a combination of AM and PM shifts
4 sleep in nights a month in which staff stay in the staff flat on site, paid in addition to salary and only woken through Careline for emergencies
Every other weekend and rotas includes a fixed day off every week.

The successful candidates will have experience of working within a care environment and will show the drive and passion required to go the “extra mile” for service users. We are looking for a strong team player who is reliable, punctual and professional. Ideally you will also hold a qualification in care or a related subject.
