We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Safety Officer to join our small but high performing Community Safety Team to work on actions to reduce crime and disorder across MSV communities.

Reporting to the Community Safety Manager, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of anti-social behaviour issues through to resolution, supporting vulnerable customers who may be subject to or perpetrators of anti-social behaviour, preparing cases for legal work and representing the group at court as and when required.

You will have a proven record of using good judgement in handling cases and dealing with difficult/distressed customers who may be subject to domestic violence, hate crime or safeguarding concerns.

You will also be required to attend multi-agency meetings from time to time and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the group and external agencies. As a holistic role you will develop preventative measures and work within the communities to ensure they are safe and secure for our tenants. Therefore the ideal candidate will be pro-active in their approach, have proven communications skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities with a demanding workload.

In addition to a competitive salary you will have access to a company pension scheme, life assurance, employee assistance programme, flexi time and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
