Housing Plus Group was formed by a merger between Severnside Housing in Shropshire and South Staffordshire-based Housing Plus, in October 2016. The Group has ambitious plans to build more homes and provide even better choice for our customers and communities.

We currently have opportunities for two Planned Project Officers to join our team. You will be a responsible member of the client services team and to contribute to the successful delivery and development of the overall business.

Your main duties will be to project manage all planned and cyclical contracts/works to the agreed timescale, cost and completed in accordance with contract conditions, specifications and health and safety requirements.

You will also work closely with our subcontractors and service providers to deliver a high quality and cost effective inspection service to our customers in line with the group values and to ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained.

The successful candidate must have a HNC/HND or working towards similar in building or construction related field and proven recent experience in practical building and property maintenance or inspection. An understanding and knowledge of building maintenance, production of specifications, working drawings and schedule of works is essential along with experience of working with and supervising contractors. Knowledge of managing adaptations projects from grant applications to completion and up-to-date knowledge of construction and maintenance materials, construction methods, building regulations and planning consents is also required.
